- Helen Glew, Researcher, BPMA, will explore the working lives of women employed by the General Post Office in both wartime and peacetime. This event takes place at the Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms and is part of the BPMA and CM&CWR's exhibition Last Post: Remembering the First World War.

Talk: The Post Office during the Second World War

- Mark Crowley, Researcher, BPMA, traces the role of the Post Office during the Second World War. Its role in maintaining solidarity on the home front, and its role in the war effort more generally will be examined. This event takes place at the Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms and is part of the BPMA and CM&CWR's exhibition Last Post: Remembering the First World War.

Talk: Winston Churchill and the First World War
(Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms, from

- Terry Charman, Historian, Imperial War Museum, will tell of how Churchill, as First Lord of the Admiralty, began the war at the centre of Britain's war effort, how he fell from power in May 1915, his time on the Western Front with the Royal Scots Fusiliers, and how he ended the war, once more in office, as Minister of Munitions. This event takes place at the Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms and is part of the BPMA and CM&CWR's exhibition Last Post: Remembering the First World War.
